With the generous support of the Embassy of the Netherlands in Pakistan, UNFPA Pakistan together with Strengthening Participatory Organization – SPO has launched the first Provincial Media Fellowship on Responsible Reporting of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and Child Marriage in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at the University of Peshawar, the initiative is led by the Social Welfare, Special Education & Women Empowerment Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
This year-long fellowship aims to strengthen responsible, rights-based journalism on GBV, Sexual and Reproductive Health, Child Marriage, and the rights of vulnerable groups, and includes a 10-day intensive workshop bringing together 40 media professionals from across the province.
